Danny Parsons - RAG
Born to English and Caribbean parents, Danny grew up in Kent, Dorset and London. While studying at Wimbledon High School he hit his creative stride and decided to go to Lewisham College and study Sound Engineering. After college Danny worked in West End bars and night clubs, as well as producing and DJ gigs at various venues in the UK, Spain, Macedonia, Italy and the Americas.
After a year out in Barbados, Danny returned to London where he started promoting such popular events as 'Ripped' and his internet venture 'Ultimate Night Out.com'. He added modelling to his resume and has featured in high profile campaigns for companies like Vodaphone.
Rag is Danny's first major role.
"Working on Rag Tag was truly an amazing experience. Not only because it was my introduction to acting, but working with such fun, outgoing and talented people really inspired me. Playing the character of Rag and dealing with the feelings and emotions that he went through taught me a lot about myself and made me realise that maybe I wasn't as open minded and in touch with male to male relationships as I once thought I was. I hope this film has the effect of opening the audiences' minds as well."
He is currently studying drama at City Lit in London.

"My experience on Rag Tag is a testament to the term 'Independent Film'. The film was a labour of love in every sense of the word and every time I hear Rag Tag it reminds me of another family unit I can always rely on."
Tag was also Damola's first major role and he has since gone on to film a TV pilot for Zoolander inspired Blue Steel and tour with a devised production at the Birmingham rep.
